The Ideal Hoofcare Client

Sometimes I see posts on Facebook from horse owners worrying about why their farrier isn’t coming out to see their horse or continuing to provide hoofcare services for them. Of course, there can be a lot of reasons for this completely unrelated to the owner or horse – injury or illness, scheduling issues, geographical location, etc.

But, truth be told, sometimes it CAN be related to the circumstances of the barn or horse. I chatted with Allyssa Stratton, Beth Lynn Lewis, and Michael Linton informally about the kind of clients we look for to fit into our hoofcare practices. This episode is a little different than previous ones, and a bit more light-hearted, but still shares some relevant information to help your hoofcare provider feel safe and appreciated while we work!
